A Prestigious Award for Richard Prause, head coach of the Werner Schlager Academy in Schwechat.

Richard Prause has been selected by the ITTF as the coach of the World team to compete against the great world champion China team in Shanghai on 24 – 25 June.  “China against the World” is a very popular duel that was founded several years ago by ITTF President Adham Sharara.

The World team is led by Germany's superstar Timo Boll, a former protege of Prause when he was head coach of the German Men's National Team, prior to Prause moving to Schwechat in the summer of 2010.

“This is the first time that a coach was selected that was not a head coach of a national team.  This is both a great honor for me and a testament to how much the Werner Schlager Academy is appreciated in international table tennis now.” said Prause.
