Andreas Levenko, on board since the opening of the Werner Schlager Academy with his father, Dmitri (who works as a trainer here in Schwechat), one week after winning the Austrian Student Championships put a proper explanation point at the international level.

Levenko, born in 1998, sensationally won the individual student title at the ITTF Junior Circuit in Platja d'Aro (Spain). In the final, he defeated the top seeded Russian Konstantin Chernov 3 – 1.

Also, in the team competition, the young Salzburger did not lose a match. With just two months before the European Youth Championships in Schwechat (12 – 22 July), this is a very encouraging sign for this ÖTTV-squad player!
