During the weekend 9 Referee Advanced Participants worked together with an ITTF Senior Expert Group to prepare for all 2013 Events.

ITTF has chosen the Werner Schlager Academy for hosting the workshop as it presently is the venue for the most important European events (European Youth Championships 2012, European Championship 2013).

Participants from Japan, Australia, Canada, Egypt, Hongkong and some European countries worked out the procedures for the big events. Special attention was paid to the new Racket Control Directive.

Above all, the joint discussions of the referees with the competition managers brought many outstanding results that will strengthen cooperation in the future.
