Austria's men's national team (Werner Schlager, Robert Gardos and Chen Weixing) has improved one position in the ITTF JOOLA Team world rankings, moving from sixth to fifth place.

Leadership is unchanged with China at the top followed by Germany and Korea.

138 nations were included in the October team rankings, with Ethiopia at the bottom.

In the women's class, China is still at number one, followed by Japan and Singapore.  More than 115 nations are ranked, with Austria's team led by  Liu Jia, Li Qiangbing and Nicole Galitschitsch, in 18^th place.

With a total of 215 member countries, the ITTF is the second largest sports federation in the world.
