Werner Schlager Academy is very proud of “WSA-Baby” Tamolwan Khetkuen who has participated in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China from 16^th till 28^th August.

Tamolwan – nickname “Mo” – has practiced at Werner Schlager Academy continuously since 2010 and had no problems to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.

The friendly right hander dominated her group in the single event which she won without losing a single game. She continued her successful way in the Round of 16 where she faced Sutirtha Mukherjee from India with a 4-2 victory. In the next round (quarter finals) Lily Zhang from United States awaited her. After a thrilling 5-games match with very close results in the games Mo had to congratulate Lily Zhang on her 4-1 victory.

In the mixed event she was even more successful with her partner Padasak Tanviriyavechakul. They dominated their group against teams from Croatia, Latin America and Austria. Also in the next round (quarter finals) they found a good start and could beat their opponents from Germany. Only in the semi-finals where they faced the absolute favourite team from China (Fan Zhedong and Liu Gaoyang) they were stopped without a realistic chance to win the match. In the match for the 3^rd place Padasak Tanviriyavechakul could play a close and thrilling match but in the end they lost against the team from Hong Kong.

Werner Schlager Academy is glad to congratulate Mo on her excellent performance in the single and mixed competition together with her partner Padasak Tanviriyavechakul.
