At the World Championships in Rotterdam (8 – 15 May), many are evaluating China's attainment of gold (again).

The question is will it be the jackpot, that is, taking the gold in all the events (Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles)?

What has been decided is that the Chinese team will complete its last phase of preparation for the World Championships at the prestigious Werner Schlager Academy in Schwechat.

Some 25 players, including all the world stars, world champions, and Olympic champions, all the aces such as Wang Hao, Ma Long, Wang Liqin, Guo Yan and Li Xiaoxia will train at the WSA from 29 April to 5 May, then travel directly to the World Championships in Rotterdam.

As is their usual practice, China's elite team will be largely shielded from the outside world during their training sessions.  The only possible exception to this may be the WSA elite training group members such as Daniela Dodean and Li Qiangbing (both with SVS STRÖCK) and Portugal's team member Joao Monteiro.
