From 4 - 13 October the European Table Tennis Championships take place at the Werner Schlager Academy in Schwechat.

On the one fighting for the title in the individual competitions (men and women) and the doubles title (men and women), but on the other hand (at the beginning of the Championships) the team event is on the program.

Austrian women's team starts (as 2011 in Gdansk no team was nominated) in the category "Standard Division" and therefore

on 27 / 28 April 2013 in the WSA has to compete with teams from Kosovo, Bosnia and Azerbaijan.

A solvable task, which the ÖTTV gives the opportunity to nominate also players of the second level. This decision is up to ÖTTV women’s national coach Liu Yan Jun.
