Reaching the semi-finals in doubles at the Swedish Open in Stockholm qualified this team a place in the Pro Tour finals tournament to be held in London November 24 – 27.

The Gardos/Habesohn Austrian doubles team qualification for the Pro Tour Grand Finals puts them in a select circle, as only the best seven teams are eligible (with the eighth spot reserved for the host country.)
