The ITTF has released the latest computer-doubles world ranking.

On the men’s this is dominated by two Chinese pairs (Ma Long / Xu Xin against Chen Qi / Ma Lin). In the women’s, surprisingly, the Japanese Hiroko Fujii / Misako Wakamiya stay ahead of the Chinese Guo Yue / Li Xiaoxia.

Encouraging from the perspective of the Werner Schlager Academy is the fact that training players of the WSA in Schwechat are presenting European leaders.

On the men’s, the newly minted Doubles European Champion Daniel Habesohn / Robert Gardos lie as best European couple on rank 11.

In the women’s SVS STRÖCK-star player Daniela Dodean - living in Schwechat since the summer of 2010 - and her Romanian double partner Elisabetha Samara reached place 8 of the world ranking - and thus rank 1 in Europe.
