A few days before the start of the World Table Tennis Championships in Paris-Bercy the Werner Schlager Academy to some extent is like a madhouse.

The number of national and international media representatives reached mid-week its peak and had two causes: first, the fact that Werner Schlager will return to the scene of his triumph, ten years after his legendary World Champion title in 2003 and, of course, on the other hand, the presence of "Table Tennis Gods " from China, in the WSA preparing for the World Championships in Paris.

Almost all major newspapers from Austria visited the WSA as well as the ORF. Even great is the international interest:
From China Xinhua TV came, from Japan an editor of the leading daily newspaper Asahi Shimbun, further editors and photographers from China, England, the USA, the French television with star commentator Jean Philippe Gatien, who ten years before Werner Schlager could get gold in the Single World Championships.

Monday 13 May the World Championships in Paris-Bercy will start.
