Good news for one of the starters of the Werner Schlager Academy.
The Latvian Matiss Burgis, living in Schwechat and training in the WSA for one year has improved in the recently published world rankings another eight ranks and is now (No. 100) for the first time in his career one of the top 100 table tennis players in the world.
As well Stefan Fegerl (SVS Niederösterreich) improved with his success at the EC over the Danish superstar Michael Maze five ranks to No. 126.
One of the upward climbers of the month is the Portuguese Joao Monteiro. Due to playing in the EC quarter-final he could improve 9 ranks to No. 39.
