More girl power for the WSA

10.09.2012

The Werner Schlager Academy is evolving. Day by day.

The most recent coup: Tamara Boros and Aya Umemura (also on the squad of the Champions League finalist SVS STRÖCK) are two world class players joining the coaching staff of the WSA.

Tamara Boros has been number two in the world and is now, in parallel with her playing responsibilities with the national team of Croatia, starting her coaching career with the WSA. Umemura once was number 11 in the world.

Thanks to the duo of Boros / Umemura, the sporting expertise of the WSA has been extended enormously as the Werner Schlager Academy shares with them a commitment to the field of women’s table tennis.

Moreover, with the top Japanese player Yuki Nonaka, Thailand's exceptional talent Tamolwan Khetkuen, the emergent Pole Klaudia Kusinska and the Dutch Youth European Champion Britt Eeerland, more top players are being added to the international training group that includes Daniela Dodean and Austrian national champion Li Qiangbing.
