Great success for  the WSA partner club SVS STRÖCK. In the very first season this team, the Austrian women singles champion Li Qiangbing, the Romanian superstar Daniela Dodean and Taiwan's Huang Yi-Hua No. 1, reached the final of the Austrian Team Championship.

In the semifinals they defeated twice TTC Villach (against the former German youth vice-world champion Amelie Solja) 6-1. Now in the finals LZ Linz Froschberg is waiting for SVS Ströck. They play with the strong Chinese Liu Yuan, Austria's team players Karina Kovacs, the strong Serbian player Anelia Lupulescu and the Romanian player Ana Larisa Magyorosi.

This team has defeated Linz I in the semifinals.

A tough final is being expected.

The first final is on Monday, May 30 (18:00) in Linz-Lissfeld.

The second (and decisive) final will be held on Tuesday 31 May, starting at 18:00 in the Werner Schlager Academy Schwechat.

The entry to this table tennis festival is free.

SVS STRÖCK would interrupt the dominance of Linz in women table tennis for about two decades and at the same time SVS STRÖCK would get the title for the first time in the SVS club history in women table tennis..

Another Cup, the international Superligue, has already been won by SVS against Linz. Now they are aiming for their second title.
