WSA Partners Club SVS STRÖCK sovereignly secured the winter crown in women's national league and after half of the championships almost reached the first major season goal (reaching the final tournament of the TOP 4 for the Austrian Championship title).
In the last national league round robin in Wiener
Neudorf players coach Aya Umemura and the
young players of SVS Ströck reached against
Wiener Neudorf (4:1) and against runners-up
Linz Froschberg (4:2)
two uncontested victories.
Against Linz mainly the 3-1 double success of Aya Umemura
and Nicole Galitschitsch
against Liu Jia /
Sofia Polcanova was
outstanding.
SVS STRÖCK has thus won all ten matches of the autumn round. Despite of turbulent times:
Daniela Dodean had a meniscus surgery last
Wednesday and needs a longer
recovery phase.
Li Qiangbing could
not play because of a flu
infection and also the Japanese defensive
artist Yuki Nonaka was not available.
Without number 1, number 2 and number 3 Linz
Froschberg was put in their place.
Encouraging is especially the fact that SVS STRÖCK
deployed with Nicole Galitschitsch,
Valerie Tischler and
the only 15-year-old Thai woman Tamolwan Khetkuen
also young players and enabled them according to the club's philosophy to play many matches and to get the chance for gaining
important experience.
