Monday (20:15) here in the Schwechat Multiversum (Event Hall) a very big Champions League preliminary round will be played between Austria series champion SVS Niederösterreich and Germany star ensemble Borussia Düsseldorf.

 

In this huge match of Group A, both are vying to be the top ÖTTV-Star Team as well as competing for the Champions League title that Borussia Düsseldorf is defending, all under tremendous pressure.  SVS Niederösterreich Austria, Borussia Düsseldorf, and Bogoria (Poland) are all competing for the two places in the quarterfinals.  So, losing is not permitted.

 

SVS Niederösterreich Austria - Borussia Düsseldorf: This means pitting the great Werner Schlager against Germany's exceptional player Timo Boll, who a few weeks ago in Gdansk at the European Championships won a gold in the team and the singles.

 

SVS Niederösterreich Austria will muster along side Werner Schlager, Chen Weixing and the young players Daniel Habesohn and Stefan Fegerl.  Düsseldorf won the first leg (3 – 1) in Germany, will support Boll with Vice European Champion Patrick Baum and the Hungarian master player Janos Jakab.
