On Saturday, 22 September (starting at 10 o’clock), the 12th annual „Sports Day“ on Vienna’s Heldenplatz will take place.

All associations and federations in Austria will introduce themselves to the public on this day.

Stars to touch, sports to participate.

In recent years, up to 400,000 have participated in this day of sport.

Proceedings on Sports Day will conclude with a concert by folk-rock n roller Gabalier Andreas, who has risen in recent years to Austria's biggest music entertainer.

Austria's Table Tennis Association - as every year – will be up on the stand at the Heldenplatz. Representatives of the Werner Schlager Academy will be there and, for those interested, all types of questions may be asked.

On this day, Minister Norbert Darabos will honor a number of athletes, including the ÖTTV aces Chen Weixing, Robert Gardos and Werner Schlager.
