Last weekend the 10th Club WSA tournament took place at the Werner Schlager Academy in Schwechat.
To celebrate this anniversary, the tournament was held under the motto "Barrel Tournament". Besides the usual trophies, as a bonus for competitions without prize money 5 liter party kegs were waiting for the winners.
In a total of eight competitions on Sunday it was fought for the sought-after prizes. The tournament began at 9:00 clock in the morning with the amateur competition to 750 RC points. The last match was at 22.00 clock in the evening a single open - the supreme discipline. The largest table tennis hall in Europe thus offered for 82 male and female players with 148 nominations perfect tournament conditions.

The ball acrobats coming here showed numerous spectacular rallies and tight games. In a total of 270 matches 1,010 sets and 18,552 points were played. Especially the final of the open individual competitions was exciting. Here Daniel Lung and Alexander Chen played table tennis at the highest level. In a thrilling match the two finalists demonstrated the 30 viewers that it was worth to stay until the "showdown". A 2-1 set lead and match points in the decisive game for the Hungarian Daniel Lung left the Viennese Alexander Chen unaffected. The last passage Chen could decide 15:13 for him and won € 150 prize money.
