On Friday, 18 November, WSA partner club SVS STRÖCK strives for success in Breclav (Czech Republic) in their second match in the Champions League preliminary round in Group A. In their first encounter against Breclav, the Austrian ladies champion won 3 – 0.
The Czech master will attempt to reshuffle the cards in the fight for promotion to the semifinals as they meditate on revenge this Friday.
The crew of SVS STRÖCK (Fan Ying, Daniela Dodean, Qiangbing Li, Nicole Galitschitsch) is therefore prepared to be highly concentrated in this CL contest. Among other things, they trained together with Margaryta Pesotska since Sunday for a week at the Werner Schlager Academy.
The beautiful Ukrainian women attained a sensational silver medal in the 2009 European Championships in Stuttgart, while demonstrating this year it was no fluke as she earned a bronze in singles in the latest European Championships in Gdansk.
Margaryta Pesotska is as a 20 year old one of the great hopes for the future in European women's table tennis. She is preparing intensively at the WSA for the Pro Tour Finals in London (24 – 27 November) where she will compete in the Under-21 competition.
Besides Pesotska, training at the WSA is Russian team player Elena Troshneva, Thailand's exceptional talent Tamolwan Khetkuen, and the young Chinese player Jiang Xue.
