The players in the (inter) national training group of the Werner Schlager Academy significantly have improved in the recent ITTF World Ranking.

Karoline Mischek, playing for Flötzersteig Wien made the most spectacular jump up. The 15-year-old high school student from Schwechat climbed by an incredible 71(!) ranks up and hereby is already the number 579 of the world in the general class.

In the Under-15-World-Ranking Caro Mischek is ranked number 29, in Europe she is number 8 in her age group.
For comparison: Exactly one year ago Mischek was only number 907 in the women's world rankings.

Also the 15-year-old Thai woman Tamolwan Khetkuen, under contract of SVS STRÖCK, pushed forward. Ten places from rank 357 to 347.

WSA top player in the world rankings is the Romanian SVS STRÖCK-player Daniela Dodean. Despite of an enforced break due to injury lasting for months she is ranked 38.

In the men's Stefan Fegerl further hauled up another three places to rank 85.
