WSA’s Large Contingent at the EYC

The final phase of preparation for the European Youth Championships in Kazan, Russia (15 – 24 July) has begun.

 

Austria is represented in all four categories (Under 18 boys and girls; Under 15 boys and girls). 

 

 

In each category young players who train regularly and continuously in or under the auspices of the WSA.

 

Among these players are Stefan Leitgeb, Simon Pfeffer, Nicole Galitschitsch (SVS STRÖCK), Melanie Luginger und Marianne Schwaiger.

 

Even the students Florian Hofmann (SVS Niederösterreich), David Klaus, Valerie Tischler (SVS STRÖCK) and Karoline Mischek are welcomed to train with the WSA resident players.

 

For the first time, the head of the delegation is Austria’s new youth officer Günter Plattner, working with SVS STRÖCK head coach Liu Yan Jun.

 

The European Youth Championships in Kazan also serve as an important signpost in regard to the Youth Championships in July 2012 in Schwechat at the WSA Multiverse and Event Hall.
